2017 is drawing to a close – and true to the motto “Eat, drink and be merry”, all 175 NOLTE&LAUTH employees gathered in Frankfurt am Main last Thursday.

So many secrets during Christmas time

After being stuck in a traffic jam we had to dresss up in record time. But then it was time for Christmas! The location had been kept secret until then. So we waited eagerly and full of anticipation in front of our hotel as an oldtimer double-decker bus turned into our street. Perhaps that could provide a clue to some people where we would be heading. All the others were amazed when the Klassikstadt (“classical city”) opened up in front of them.

A top-class evening

In the foyer we were welcomed with a glass of champagne and warm words by our managing directors. Afterwards, we travelled through time by admiring the old-timers and classics of Mercedes-Benz and Lamborghini.

From humming engines to growling stomachs

When one door closes, another one opens: At 8 p.m. the motor show was closed and we sat down in the ballroom. Our office manager in Frankfurt introduced us to the evening’s programme. He concluded his presentation with the four most beautiful words in the world: “The buffet is opened!”

Secret Santa Shooting

After enjoying the culinary delights the next highlight followed straight away. Our employees, who have been working at NOLTE&LAUTH for five or ten years – quasi from the very beginning of NOLTE&LAUTH – have been honoured with individual laudations and gifts. Afterwards, everyone else received a gift – from Santa Claus himself. In return, each of us had to take a picture in the photo booth with a colleague we haven’t met before. From that point on the “official” part of the celebration merged seamlessly into the party. Tables and chairs were exchanged for the bar, dance floor and photo booth. So we danced and celebrated to the rousing music of our all-time favourite DJ ERIC KNOW – besides we managed to take a picture with 20 people (or were there even more?).

In the end, we were all full, merry and ready for 2018.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
